Privacy notice
Last updated 14 October 2026.
This page explains what happens to the details you share on my website. I'm Henry Villacruel, a freelance web designer based in the Philippines, and I'm the one who looks after your information.
What I collect
- From the contact form: your name, email, phone number (optional), the type of project and your message.
- When you book a discovery call: your name, email and the time you choose, through Google Calendar's booking page.
- From the chat assistant: the messages you type. If you ask me to contact you, the assistant also saves your name, email, phone number (optional) and a short summary of what you need, the same as the contact form.
I don't use tracking cookies or ads on this site.
Why I use it
- To reply to your inquiry.
- To send you up to two follow-up emails if we haven't spoken yet. They stop as soon as you book a call or unsubscribe.
- To schedule and hold our discovery call.
I never sell your details or add you to a newsletter.
Where it is kept
Your details are stored in my Google account (Gmail, Google Sheets and Google Calendar). My emails are sent by an automation tool (n8n) that runs on my own server at Hostinger. Google and Hostinger only store and process this data for me.
The chat assistant is an AI. Your chat messages go to Google's Gemini AI so it can write the replies, and my n8n server holds the last few messages in memory so the assistant can follow the conversation. It doesn't keep a log of chats, except a record of the message when something breaks, so I can fix it. I use Gemini's free tier, so Google may use chat messages to improve its products. Please don't type passwords, card numbers or other sensitive details in the chat.
How long I keep it
I keep inquiry details for up to 12 months after our last contact, then delete them, unless we start working together.
Your choices
- Stop follow-up emails: click "unsubscribe" in any of my emails.
- See, correct or delete your details: email me and I'll do it within 7 days.
